When my son-in-law, a US Army Sergeant, returned home from Afghanistan, I wanted to find some way to thank him. It meant the world to me that these great men and women would sacrifice so much for our country and way of life. I made my first wooden flag in hopes that it would help express my gratitude to him.
Hand Crafted by Dave Baker was created that day. Each flag I create is made from start to finish by hand, One flag at a time. No two are the same, which makes every flag its own individual “Hand Crafted by Dave Baker”.
Since that first flag, I have made over one hundred additional flags, either for sale to the public or ones that I have donated to veterans, veteran organizations, and to non-profit’s for their fund raising events. Please see the “Give” page above and find out how you can help.
I am honored to support Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions (VETS), a non-profit organization that has provided grants for hundreds of U.S. Special Forces veterans to receive psychedelic-assisted therapy treatment outside the U.S., as well as preparation and integration coaching. VETS believes that psychedelic therapy can lay the foundation for further healing.
